Before Waxing
Let Hair Grow to the Right Length at least to ¼ length long.
Exfoliate Your Skin, 1-2 days before.
Avoid Sun Exposure or tanning beds for at least 24hours before.
Skip Lotions, Oils, or Creams on the day of your procedure.
Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Wear Loose, Comfortable Clothing on the day of your procedure.
Communicate with Your Esthetician: Let your esthetician know if you have any skin conditions, allergies, or are taking medications such as Accutane.
After Waxing
By following these post-care steps, you can ensure that your skin stays smooth, irritation-free, and the results of your wax last longer.
Avoid Touching the Waxed Area.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to avoid friction on the waxed area.Keep the Area Clean for the next 24-48 hours.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and sun exposure for at least 24 hours post-waxing.
Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer or soothing lotion like aloe vera to keep the skin hydrated and reduce any redness or swelling.
Avoid Exfoliating for at least 48 hours after waxing.
Avoid Intense workouts or activities that cause excessive sweating for at least 24 hours.
Reduce the risk of ingrown hairs, you can use a special ingrown hair serum or a mild exfoliant a few days after waxing (usually 3-5 days after). This helps keep the hair follicles free and clear as they grow out.
Avoid Deodorants or Fragrances for areas like underarm for 24 hours to avoid irritation.
